Refund and Cancellation Policy

At The Umbrella Store, we take great care in packing and dispatching your orders. If you receive a wrong or defective product, we are here to help β€” but kindly note the following terms and timelines to ensure a smooth resolution.


To Raise a Refund or Return Request:

Please email us at theumbrella3@gmail.com within 24 hours of delivery with all of the following details:

  • Order number
  • Date of transaction
  • Delivery address
  • Clear images of the item in question
  • An unboxing video (mandatory in case of damaged, missing, or broken items)

πŸ“Œ All proofs must be submitted within 24 hours of delivery. Requests made without complete proof or after this window will not be entertained.


Strict Timeline for Requests

  • All return or refund requests must be raised within 24 hours of delivery.
  • No refund, return, or replacement requests will be accepted once 48 hours have passed from the time of delivery β€” under any circumstance.

For Delivery Damage:

  • If your item arrives damaged during transit, only a replacement will be issued (not a refund).
  • A valid unboxing video and photo proof is mandatory for the replacement to be processed.
  • Requests without video proof or raised beyond the 24-hour window will not be eligible.

Refunds Will NOT Be Provided In the Following Cases:

  • Size, color, or design preferences: We do not offer refunds or exchanges for preferences. All product dimensions, colors, materials, and images are clearly provided on the product page.
  • Incorrect address or delivery failure: No refunds will be processed if:
    • An incorrect or incomplete shipping address was provided
    • Delivery fails after 3 attempts
    • The package is refused by the customer
  • Products bought during sales or offers: Items sold during promotions are not eligible for refunds or exchanges.
  • Change of mind after ordering: We do not accept returns or refunds for orders placed by mistake or if you change your mind.

Refund Process (If Applicable):

  • Refunds will be initiated only after we receive and inspect the returned product.
  • Upon approval, the refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.
  • Shipping charges and RTO (Return-to-Origin) fees will be deducted from the refund amount.

Please note-

Please ensure you record an unboxing video when opening your package. This is essential for any claims related to damage, missing items, or breakage.

Cancellations by Customer:
If you need to cancel an order, please do so within 24 hours of placing it by emailing us at theumbrella3@gmail.com. In case of express shipping, do so within 4 hours of placing orderΒ 

To help us minimize shipping costs and effort, we appreciate timely communication if you decide not to proceed with an order:

  • Before dispatch: A full refund will be issued for pre-paid orders.
  • After dispatch: The refund will be processed minus the shipping and return shipping charges for pre-paid orders.

Note: Refusal of COD (Cash on Delivery) orders may result in the COD facility being barred without prior notice.


Express Delivery:
If express delivery is selected and the order is not delivered within 3-4 working days, the excess amount paid will be refunded. However, please note that orders cannot be canceled even if the delivery timeframe is exceeded. For urgent requirements, kindly contact us before placing your order.
